Audio system that features acoustical beam steering from a 50,000-pound central
speaker cluster. First system to use beam steering on frequencies less than 200 Hz. Pro Media engineers designed the support and rigging system for the 25-ton central cluster, oversaw the fabrication, shipping, and on-site installation. Cluster consists of 52 mid/hi frequency cabinets, 14 low frequency arrays, and 24 subwoofer cabinets, and is augmented by 30 delay fill cabinets. There is a LARES environmental sound enhancement system, which utilizes 36 speakers throughout the arena. Audio signal processing and amplification is managed by a digitally networked array of 25 BSS Soundweb digital signal processors and 130 amplifiers.
